Hot Insulation

This type of Insulation is required for environment temp. exceeding 60℃. The materials required and generally applied for the Hot Insulation are as under,

  1. Unbonded Glasswool with Handmade Mattresses Upto 400℃.
  1. Unbonded Mineralwool with Handmade Mattresses Upto 500℃
  1. Lightly Resin Bonded (LRB) Mattresses with Handmade Mattresses Upto 550℃
  1. Calcium Silicate Powder / Slabs: Upto 800℃
  1. Ceramic Fiber Blankets: Upto 1000℃
Cold Insulation

This type of Insulation is required for environment temperatures below ambient. The materials required and generally applied for the Cold Insulation are as under,

  1. Thermocole: Both in ND and TF quality Upto -20℃
  1. Polyurethane Foam: Upto – 200℃
  1. Phenolic Foam: Upto – 180℃
  1. Nitrile Rubber: Upto – 200℃

Polyurethane Foam Item above can be applied in Block and Pipe Sections by Manual Application process.

The job can be done at site through a process called ‘Pouring In-Situ’. This insulation process can also be done mechanically through a cavity of required thickness. The PU chemicals are then dispensed in defined proportions through a dispensing machine where an isothermal reaction takes place and the foam is formed.

Dual Insulation

Dual Insulation is a combination of Hot & Cold Insulation where the process demands are for Hot & Cold Insulation and the process lines and equipment are used for both purposes.

Acoustic Insulation

Acoustic Insulation is required for reducing Sound Abuse to provide a comfortable and cozy working atmosphere. Its main application is in Buildings Malls, Theaters, Hotels, Studios and Hospitals.

Underground Piping Insulation

The Pipe lines laid underground for the flow of fuel oil, Chemicals etc, are requires to be given a treatment to provide resistance to formation of corrosion on the pipe surface. The Insulation Process generally Called and known as Wrapping and Coating.

Furnace and Ovens Insulations

Furnace and Oven insulation is a type of Thermal Insulation provided to prevent/minimize heat losses through furnace walls.

Building Insulation

Building Insulation provides heat conservation and prevents heat loss whilst provides a cozy and comfortable environment. It is economical and minimizes heat losses to reduce load on the system.

HVAC Insulation

This type of Insulations provided on HVAC systems comes under various categories. The Ducts used to Circulate Hot / Cold Air / Gasses etc. ensure that the heat losses and load on the system is minimum.

Heat Treatment

This type of Insulation is provided on the Heat Treatment system for Stress Relieving. It can be either be permanent or temporary. The stresses generated out of gradual Heating to desired temperature and again cooling gradually to the original temperature is achieved by providing insulation on the body itself.

In cases, to avoid multiple handling, transportation and time required, the temporary fumaces are built near the fabrication site. This also comes under heat treatment Insulation.

Irregular Shape Insulation

Turbines and doors. Machine parts which have irregular shapes are insulated by providing Insulation blankets. The Blankets are fabricated to suit the shape of the item to be insulated and then stuck by means of appropriate.
